SUMMARY:Auckland After5 - What could living in a smart city actually be like?
DESCRIPTION:We hear a lot about living in smart cities but what could it actually look like? \n \nAt this event\, our presenters will use Aurecon’s Just Imagine approach to really try and imagine what it could practically mean for us all to live there. And we’ll be looking at how the new Internet of Things will play its part.  \nOur presenters will be Adam Beck who is the Executive Director of the Smart Cities Council ANZ\, and Slaven Marusic\, Aurecon’s Digital Insights Leader. Both Adam and Slaven are based on Australia and are coming over just for this event. \nWe very much want to talk about the impact of these ideas rather than the technicalities of networks etc and so we will follow up the short presentation with a panel discussion which will focus in specifically on transport in a smart city and how NZ can be innovative in this space. \nThe event is free for TUANZ and FLINT members.\n5pm – 7pm\, Wednesday 22nd November\nBluestone Room\, Auckland CBD \nPlease note: TUANZ After5s open at 5pm with the formalities and presentations commencing at 5:30pm
