Current: Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand
Proposed: Technology Users Association of New Zealand
Over the last 12 months the general feedback on the future of the name of our organisation is that the use of the word “telecommunications” is a rather outdated term and does not fully convey the purpose and vision of TUANZ as it has developed.
The possibility of changing the name of the organisation away from telecommunications was flagged at the organisation’s AGM. Informal conversations since then with members and stakeholders appears to support the idea of a change.
Now we are providing members with an opportunity to vote on the name change.
