Getting StarteD
These are the foundation documents and tools for a successful mentoring relationship. They will help you set the scene, aligned expectations and agree your shared outcomes. Use these tools when you first meet to set the stage for your partnership.
Mentoring Guidelines
The 2026 FLINT Plus Pilot Mentoring Guidelines document provides a comprehensive framework for a mutually beneficial professional partnership. It defines three distinct mentoring levels—informational, skill, and advocacy—and details the roles, mutual expectations, and developmental benefits for both mentors and mentees. Additionally, the text maps out the relationship’s chronological phases from matching through to conclusion, identifies core coaching skills, and delivers practical toolkits including conversation starters, digital etiquette, and a seven-step guided discovery model.
FLINT+ Mentoring Agreement
You can use this template from us to formally establish your FLINT+ mentoring partnership. This document provides a structured framework to help mentors and mentees align on key logistics such as meeting frequency, scheduling responsibilities, and duration. It also helps you define mutual expectations and goals for the relationship. You can download the document, edit it and use it as you want.
Mentoring Launch Call Presentation & Recording
This presentation served as the guide for the mentoring programme’s introductory kick-off meeting on September 4, 2026. It outlines the pilot mentoring journey spanning from the initial application and matching process to the final feedback and review stages while also detailing essential guidelines, agreements, and recommended tools to support participants throughout the programme.
