Kia Ora,
We’re proud to release the 2021 Annual Report
On behalf of the board of TUANZ it gives us great pleasure to release and make available the report covering the year up to 31st March 2021. A lot has happened since TUANZ last produced a report and 2021 was a big example of how things change so quickly. Even so, we were able to respond to the disruption of a global pandemic in new and interesting ways. From being able to host some in person events when settings allowed it, to quickly moving online, we still managed to deliver a full programme.
TUANZ also has had a history of providing thought leadership reports over the years, and in 2020/21 we delivered two key documents – the Rural Connectivity Symposium Communique with 5 key long term actions, and the Aotearoa’s Digital Priorities for 2021 with its 6 key priorities. Both of these are summarised in the Annual Report.
In the midst of the disruption, we also went ahead and broadened our focus to rename as the Technology Users Association which is covered off in the Chair’s report.
And we continued to advocate on behalf of all users with key decision makers in industry and Government. We never shy away from sharing our views and thoughts with these groups.
Finally, I want to thank our members, partners and sponsors for your ongoing involvement with TUANZ. We’re in our 35th year and your loyalty and support is highly valued and incredibly appreciated.
Tristan Ilich,
Chair, TUANZ
