After5 Wellington – The 2020’s had such promise – what now after a year of disruption?

11/02/2021 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

As 2020 started we thought we were heading into a new decade full of promise with new technologies opening up our world and then we got blindsided by nature and our world shrunk.

But then how would we have coped without technology and the ability to connect? And how will it impact on the rest of the decade – what will the world look like in 2030?

Come and join us for a not-necessarily serious look at how 2020 was so different that we expected and how technology will revolutionise for good and/or bad the next 10 years.

We will have a panel of fantastic experts giving their take on the topic. Each speaker has 5 minutes to pitch you on how digital evolution will change in their industry – ranging from transport to how we engage with the internet. We expect robust discussion at the front of the room on this topic!

Our panelists include Colin Brown from Xero, and Lee McKenzie from Waka Kotahi (NZTA).

Join us for some great conversation and debate about what’s happened, and what might be coming next, as the 21st century moves into its early adult years.

The event will start at 5:30pm with registration open from 5pm., and followed by networking drinks and nibbles to celebrate the end of what has been a highly unusual year!
