Constitution
TUANZ and its members are bound to Association’s Constitution. This document was last updated by members at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. You can download and read a copy of the Constitution and Rules of the Association here.
Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct serves to guide the actions and behaviour of TUANZ people – Board members, staff and volunteers – consistent with our organisation’s values. We are all caretakers of TUANZ’s reputation and voice; how we conduct our work and how we treat others is critical to our continues success.
Breach of the Code of Conduct
If anyone considers that a Board member, or other TUANZ People has breached this Code of Conduct, they should inform the Contact Officer in writing, noting that complaints should be made as soon as practicable.
Code of Conduct for Events
Our Code of Conduct for Events outlines expectations for respectful and professional behavior at events. It emphasizes treating all attendees with courtesy, avoiding offensive language or harassment, and acting responsibly, especially regarding alcohol consumption. Participants are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, respect speakers, and refrain from disruptive behavior.
The code also promotes inclusivity by welcoming diverse perspectives and creating a safe, comfortable space for everyone. It requires adherence to safety regulations and immediate reporting of any safety concerns or violations. Consequences for violating the code may include warnings, removal from the event, or a ban from future events. By registering, attendees agree to abide by this code, and violations can be reported to the event host confidentially.
You can read the full code, including the standards of behaviour and how to complain here.
Conflict of Interest Policy
TUANZ Board members volunteer services to the organisation by virtue of their close association and high level of knowledge of the ICT sector, such interest stemming from their private roles on one or both of the demand and supply side of the industry.
As such, situations may arise where Board members are seen to have vested or conflicted interests regarding board activities.
The TUANZ Board Conflict of Interest Policy assists Board members and protects them and TUANZ from the potential threat to its Independent Advisor status stemming from any such real or perceived conflict.
