About this Event
Digital transformation and disruption is occurring across the economy including the ways in which we consume content. 2018 now looks like it was a significant pivot point in NZ when it came to the way we talked about TV.
Netflix and Lightbox had been in the marketplace since 2014, joined by Amazon Prime in December of 2016. But the big news that started a much wider conversation was the announcement by Spark that they had secured the rights to various sporting events, including the jewel in the crown – Rugby World Cup 2019. This all means the traditional broadcasters face significant challenges today and in their future.
Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 6th August to hear from these speakers:
Carolyn Luey, Consumer Director, Vodafone NZ will provide the opening keynote session
